Frequently Asked Questions

  • Both!

I am available to meet in person and am located in Tustin, California less than a half-mile from the 5 and the 55.

If you are interested in virtual therapy, as I am licensed in CA, you will need to be within the state of California at the time of our session. (It is not necessary to be a resident. College students welcome!)

I utilize a HIPAA-compliant platform to conduct our sessions.

  • My style of therapy is very much based on your individual needs. While I do recommend weekly sessions to start as we get to know each other, I consider a number of factors when determining scheduling. Ultimately, it’s up to you and your needs. I will always offer my recommendation based on my own observations, but the kind of support you need—whether more or less—can only be determined by you!

  • Initial “getting to know you” session: 60 min, $240

All following sessions: 50 min, $200

Consultation calls for loved ones seeking guidance and information regarding treatment (via Zoom): 50 min, $200 or 30 min, $120

Under the “No Surprises Act,” you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of costs and services provided to you.

  • I use an app called Ivy Pay, a payment app created specifically for therapists that is secure, HIPAA-compliant, and does not require an account.

Ivy Pay can be connected to any credit card or FSA card.

  • I am not in-network with insurance. However, I am able to provide a super bill for services which you are able to submit to your insurance company on your own for reimbursement if you have out-of-network benefits.

It is your responsibility to reach out to your insurance company and explore your out-of-network benefits and if you are eligible for reimbursement. I cannot guarantee reimbursement of services.

Here are some helpful questions to ask your insurance provider:

    • Does my plan include out-of-network coverage for mental health?

    • Is there an annual deductible for out-of-network mental health benefits? If so, how much of my deductible have I met?

    • Is there a limit on the number of sessions my plan will cover per year? If yes, How many?

    • Is there a limit on out-of-pocket expenses per year?

    • What is my co-insurance percentage for mental health services?

    • Does my plan require pre-authorization for psychotherapy?

    • Does my plan require a referral for psychotherapy?

  • I reserve part of my caseload for individuals needing a reduced rate.

This can be discussed during our initial consultation call.
